🐝 Our Bee Project

Our Bee Project is about much more than producing honey! It is a community environmental project that brings people together to learn about bees, understand the vital role of pollinators and discover how we can all play a part in protecting our natural environment.

Bees and other pollinators play an essential role in our food systems. Supporting healthy pollinator populations and creating habitats where they can thrive is an important part of building a more sustainable and resilient local environment.

🌱 Growing Our Apiary

We have started work to expand our apiary, creating more opportunities for our community to get involved and learn about the fascinating world of bees.

As the project develops, we hope to create more opportunities for people of all ages to visit the apiary, learn practical skills, get involved in caring for the bees and understand more about the connection between pollinators, biodiversity and the food we eat.
