About The Club
We set up a Boxing club with Former World Champion Boxer Maurice Hope MBE!
Boxing has some fantastic benefits, both for individuals and communities. Our club is for youth and adults of all abilities and genders, where you can train and fight (either as fighters or just for fitness and skills development).
Boxing Club benefits:
- Get fit and healthy
- Learn or improve your boxing skills
- Train with a former World Champion (who is supported by our youth and community team and other boxing coaches)
- Increase your personal discipline
- Feel part of the club and community
- Volunteering opportunities (within the club and through other community projects and services)
Whats On
We run two Youth sessions, depending on age and skill level;
Junior Boxers (8-13 year olds) Wednesdays 5.00pm – 6.00pm
Seniors (14-17 year olds) Wednesdays 6.00pm-7.00pm
Our aim for the club is to support Young people to become healthier, increase confidence, increase self-discipline, work towards something rewarding and meet new people.
We want our members to feel part of the Boxing club and the youth hub; our youth team are also the supporting coaches; they are there to make sure you feel safe, work through any worries, have fun and learn some serious boxing skills!
Adult Boxing Sessions (over 18+) Wednesdays 7.15pm – 8.30pm
All levels are welcome; you can train for fitness and/ or fight. We are still developing the club, so please be patient with us while we get everything set up. You are welcome to train on Wednesdays; when we secure further funding, we are looking to increase this to Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
